A very attractive and super light weight top-lever hammergun by Thomas Turner. The nitro-proved Damascus barrels are 28″ with 2 1/2″ chambers and bright shiny bores (there are a couple of shallow pits in the right bore, 8″ from the muzzle.) The barrels are choked .004/.010. The rebounding locks function crisply. The action features carved percussion fences, and acanthus scroll engraving surrounding the maker’s name in a flowing banner. The fore-end is of the pull-off variety. The figured stock measures 1 5/8″ x 2 3/8″ x 14 3/8″ over an ebonite butt. At 6 lbs 1 oz (!), this will make someone a dandy little field gun.
