A very solid and usable boxlock non-ejector, retailed by Army & Navy. The 28″ invisibly sleeved nitro proved barrels have 2 1/2″ chambers and shiny bores, choked .011/.027. The gun locks up tight, and has a doll’s head extension. The receiver has border engraving. The wood is solid, and the checkering is crisp. The fore-end is of the pull-off variety, and has a horn finial. The stock measures 1 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ x 15 1/8″ over a 1″ pad. A very fine all-around upland double.
