A very handsome double with tons of character by a good London maker. The 28″ nitro-proved sleeved barrels have 2 1/2″ chambers and are choked .008/.014. The ejectors are strong and in time. The receiver features full coverage acanthus scroll engraving, with the maker’s name in a banner. On the rib is engraved: CHARLES BOSWELL MAKER. 126 STRAND. LONDON. WC SLEEVED The stock is very attractive walnut with dark streaks, and features checkered side-panels. The fore-end features a push-button release. The stock measures 1 5/8” x 2 3/8” x 14 ¼” over a checkered ebonite butt with cast off. The weight is 6 lbs 11 oz. Excellent gun.
