Here is a really neat Greener F25 non-ejector. I took it for a stroll last week, and was pleased to knock down a wild flushing ruffed grouse. (File this under “better lucky than good.”) The nitro proved barrels are 28″ with 2 1/2″ chambers and excellent bores, choked .013/.037 (about IC/F). It features (naturally) a Greener side safety, and locks up tight with (naturally) a Greener cross-bolt. The receiver features Celtic-style border engraving, and the maker’s name in a flowing banner. The wood has attractive figure, and is solid with no chips or cracks. The fore-end has a latch release. The stock measures 1 3/4″ x 2 3/8″ x 14 5/8″ over a checkered butt with cast off. The weight is 6 lbs 8 oz on the dot. An excellent classic Greener.
