Here is a classic W. W. Greener Model FH25 Facile Princeps boxlock ejector, built in 1903. The nitro-proved barrels are 28″ with 2 1/2″ chambers and excellent, shiny bores, choked .000/.030 (about cylinder/full). It has a Greener side safety (non-automatic) and locks up tight with a Greener crossbolt. The receiver features the maker’s name in a banner, framed by acanthus scroll engraving. The stock is French walnut with attractive horizontal streaking. The fore-end has a push-button release. The stock measures 1 1/2″ x 2 1/4″ x 14 3/8″ over a ventilated pad. There is cast off. The weight is 6 lbs 10 oz. A really fun gun for pheasants or decoyed ducks.
