The rib is engraved: I. HOLLIS & SONS LONDON, and the tubes (at the breech end) are stamped: SLEEVED. The plain action is engraved with the maker’s name. Lightly figured wood. The fore-end has a Deeley patent latch release. The Prince of Wales stock measures 1 3/8″ x 2 1/16″ x 14 5/8″ over a 3/4″ pad. The cast is neutral. The weight is 6 lbs 10 oz.
