Here is a good W. W. Greener FH35 Facile Princeps Ejector with an unusual (for a Greener) tang safety. The 28″ barrels have 2 1/2″ chambers and excellent bores, choked .009/.033 (about IC/F). The receiver features acanthus scroll engraving above the maker’s name. The top-lever has a gold inlaid “1” There is a “1” on the fore-end release lever as well. The rib is engraved: W.W. GREENER. MAKER. 40. PALL MALL. LONDON. S.W. WORKS. ST MARY’S SQUARE. BIRMINGHAM. The wood has attractive figure and flat-top checkering. The stock measures 1 5/8″ x 2 1/8″ x 14 1/4″ over a Bakelite butt-plate. There is slight cast off. The weight is only 6 lbs 5 oz. An excellent bird gun.
