Here is a graceful little 20 gauge hammergun by the Yorkshire gunmaker William Golden. The 30″ nitro-proved barrels have 2 3/4″ chambers and excellent bores, choked .013/.021. The rebounding hammers function crisply. The receiver features border and acanthus scroll engraving, along with the maker’s name. The wood is quite solid with crisp checkering. The fore-end is of the pull-off variety. The stock measures 1 1/2″ x 2 1/4″ x 14″ over a smooth steel butt. The cast is neutral. The weight is only 5 lbs 10 oz. This will make someone an absolutely fantastic quail and dove gun.
